Autism & The Working Environment

About the Event

April is World Autism Month, join us and learn how you can create neuro-inclusive workplace environments, with a specific focus on empowering autistic talent to thrive at work.

Creating a neuro-inclusive environment is a crucial part of future-proofing an organisation and creating psychological safety for all.

However, post-pandemic work environments and policies vary across organisations. For example:

  • Full return to the office

  • Hybrid (working from home and in the office)

  • Fully remote working

Regardless of the strategies used, it is clear to see that there are multiple factors and environments to consider when thinking about how we can make our workplaces neuro-inclusive.

In this session, we will discuss:

  • Defining Autism, common characteristics, and the value that autistic individuals can bring to organisations

  • Common challenges autistic individuals may face in different work environments

  • What adjustments organisations can put in place to support autistic individuals in the workplace

  • Available support that Lexxic can provide

There will also be lots of time for interaction and Q&A.
