About the Event

Join us for a panel discussion, as we look at demystifying neurodiversity assessments, dispelling common assessment misconceptions and stigmas, and helping individuals to better understand their own needs before going ahead with a neurodiversity assessment.

This session will be useful for those with a neurodifference, those that support neurodivergent individuals and anyone with an interest in neurodiversity.

We'll be joined by a range of panellists, bringing you insight and professional expertise from our psychologists, and those with lived experience in the field of neurodiversity.

The panel will discuss:

  • The different types of neurodiversity assessments that individuals can access

  • The standard process when undertaking an assessment

  • The potential benefits of the different types of assessments

  • Exploring potential challenges of completing the assessments and when they might not be appropriate

  • Advice on what to look for in a private assessment provider in order to be confident of a professional service.

There will be some time available for audience Q&A.

Meet our event panellists:

Pooja Sudera

Consulting Business Psychologist at Lexxic

Pooja has a master’s degree in occupational psychology and is working towards a Chartered status in Occupational Psychology. She is an experienced psychologist who has worked in the field of neurodiversity for both private and government organisations for over 8 years. At Lexxic, she is a senior member of the team, working with adults that have a neurodiverse condition and providing psychological services to these individuals to help them reach their true potential. Pooja is passionate about promoting employee well-being and has worked with organisations and management to raise awareness of neurodiversity to help promote diversity and improve organisational policy.

Hannah Arnold-Wallinger

Hannah Arnold-Wallinger
Senior Business Psychologist at Lexxic

As a Senior Business Psychologist, Hannah’s role involves working one to one with employees, delivering Diagnostic Assessments, for Dyslexia, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) and Dyscalculia, Screening Assessments, Workplace Needs Assessments and coaching to support employees develop skills that can help them in the roles. Hannah also has experience working within the area of Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace, providing training to employees and line manager’s to support them to build a mentally healthy workplace. She is passionate about supporting wellbeing and diversity within organisations and supporting employees at an individual level.

“Born in Kushiro, Japan to Protestant missionaries, I faced culture shock both there and later at a boarding school in Bath, UK. Overcoming dyslexia with KPMG's help, I thrived in banking audit but experienced burnout due to organisational challenges. More recently diagnosed with ADHD, I now lead KPMG's Hedge Accounting Centre of Excellence, focusing on transparent communication and championing neurodiversity where I can. Embracing my unique cultural and neurodiverse identity, I contribute actively to diversity/neurodiversity initiatives. I’m blessed with a fantastic wife and 7 year old daughter and I play tennis whenever I can.”

Liam McClelland
Insolvent Company Investigator at The Insolvency Service

Liam is an investigator with The Insolvency Service, a government agency that administers compulsory company liquidations and personal bankruptcies and deals with misconduct through investigation of companies and enforcement. It also makes redundancy payments in cases where a company is insolvent. Liam was screened for ADHD and Dyslexia when a mature student at The University of Nottingham.

Olivia d’Elsa Green
Business Psychologist at Lexxic

Olivia is a Business Psychologist at Lexxic, working with a variety of employees, delivering screenings and workplace needs assessments for neurodiverse conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Dyslexia, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), and Dyscalculia as well as delivering one-to-one coaching sessions. For years, she has been passionate about Mental Health in general and Mental Health and wellbeing in the workplace in particular.
