Understanding & Empowering Dyslexic Minds

Registration has now closed for this event.

Approximately 1 in 10 people have dyslexia, but despite this prevalence, society still holds misconceptions and false stereotypes. Moreover, this figure could be even higher, as some individuals choose not to disclose their dyslexia due to the stigma and judgment surrounding it.

We have our very own Abigail Tennant running the session who has a diagnosis of Dyslexia and ADHD. She has worked in the field of neurodiversity for 2 years as an assessor, coach and now a Consulting Business Psychologist.

Abigail will be joined by Ricke Williams who is a neurodivergent individual who will be sharing his experiences to the conversation.

In this session we will explore what the current conversation is around Dyslexia and how we can change the conversation to empower dyslexic individuals and normalise the conversation to change the narrative.

Please note, we use Slido in parts throughout our webinars to allow for audience participation. Our event host will provide clear instructions on how to participate, but there is absolutely no pressure to engage if you do not wish to. You will be able to access the Slido questions by using the camera on your phone to scan a QR code which the presenter will share with you, or by visiting www.slido.com and entering a code that the presenter will share with you.
